We often get asked these questions,
so here are my best answers ..

Yes we can. This is one of the most common dilemmas. Architecture is as much about spatial awareness as it is about appearance.

Arranging an early ‘get together’ is a big part of this – to walk the site or property together, so I can listen and fully understand your aspirations. Then I can get to work planning out your project, knowing with confidence, you’ll be very happy with the outcome.

Not at all. I am very happy to work with all types /uses of property or plots of land.

Yes, this is a possibility. I’ll be able to confirm this with an early site meeting.

This can vary depending on the project, but all fees are fixed irrespective of your location and agreed prior to our appointment. There are  no hidden extras and the initial meeting is always ‘free of charge’. For more information, please see our prices page here.

This can vary depending on where the design takes place. But we will determine this during our first meeting.

This can vary depending on the type of application. However, the target for all authorities is the decision to be issued within 8 weeks of registration.

Once approved, planning lasts for 3 years. However, as long as work commences within that period, then completion is open ended.

Generally not before we have a scheme finalised, ideally after planning permission has been granted (if required), and once the detailed drawings have been completed.

Not usually. That said, the extent of the works sought can vary depending on the grade of listing. As always, there is often a solution.

Probably yes, but this usually depends on current workloads and circumstances. But as a practice, we work literally nationwide and our fee scale remains unchanged wherever the location of the property. Please get in touch to discuss your project so we can give you our best advice.
